Has anyone here taken the LSAT for law school?

156. My LSAC GPA is a 3.58 currently. Basically right now, id give anything just to get into any top 50 school, but its going to be incredibly hard.

man, its a rough road ahead. one of my friends just graduated from law school. he was the kind growing up, he was never any good at sports, but he was the smartest kid you knew. always at home studying, guys a real genius. he took his final exam he had to take and passed..but he said it was a nightmare.

he got hired where he was interning for some lawfirm in NY..he was making like 60-70k interning..and got hired since he passed the test. he was going to law school here in FL and had an apartment here, and also had a nice apartment in NY for the summers he was working up there. im sure he'll make $110-120k/year his first few years..but he also has a few hundred grand in loans to pay back

my hats off to you guys..takes brains. brains i dont have.

What Law School are you trying to get into?
I was hoping to get into Boston College law, but now there is no chance of that. So now I really want to go to either UC Davis or UC Hastings, but its gonna be extremely tough.

That's better than me. Apply early to UF...amazing law school and #40. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif Spent the best 4 years of my life there for undergrad.

well i was actually gonna try to apply for this cycle still. Hopefully ill still have a shot. Basically, i want to get the hell out of the northeast and go to school in the city. California is defiantely at the top of my list. Places like rutgers and uconn don't really appeal to me, i need to get out into the country and explore.

Nova Southeastern...apply with your scores you are a lock. I was born and raised 5 minutes from it and I attend it now. I applied late and I got in and you have better credentials. Nova is located in Fort Lauderdale and it never gets cold...which I hate.

edit: they most likely will gie you a scholarship too.

if i start applying like first week of january, is that considered extremely late? I figure ill apply no matter what anyway, if i get lots of rejected letters, ill just retake the lsat again and apply the next year.

I applied to Nova I think mid-Jan and I got in. Just make sure you have your letters or rec. done and follow their procedures for the BS essay they want you to write. Even if you applied in february, most tier 4 schools would snag you easily because of your good LSAT and GPA. However, UF...if you wait much longer I doubt it. However, apply there anyway. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif If you want to come to Fl apply to UF, FSU, Stetson, and Nova. The rest IMO are medicore in Fl. FIU is ok but its so new.
