has anyone ever heard of Groud Zero Engineering?

Specs for the Radioactive 10 SVC are:
Specs for the 10"svc 4 Ohm are as follows:

Fs: 40 Hz

Re: 3.3 Ohms

Qt: .383

Qe: .396

Qm: 11.4

Vas: 30.9 Liters

SD: .0322 M^2

BL: 12.5

Le: 1.9 mH

Power handling 250 watts

Nuke 10 (the one with the larger dust cap):

Specs for the 10"svc 4 Ohm are as follows:

Fs: 35.8 Hz

Re: 3.2 Ohms

Qt: .268

Qe: .276

Qm: 8.89

Vas: 21.6 Liters

BL: 18.7

Le: 1.9 mH

Power handling 750 watts

WinISD or any other program will be able to figure the rest of the parameters out for you. And yes, those are both US GZ products. BTW...give that Nuke 10 more than 750 watts if you can. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif ...and vent both drivers, especially that Nuke!
Nick, thanks a ton for looking this up for us!

havent ever actually heard an RE woofer yet.
but if you wanna find out i might could part with the nuke //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
that made no sense, but ok //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/spank.gif.0d78e34d42ea8780359e903aeb6697d6.gif

wait, your saying mine is a better driver than his because it has a larger dustcap and this is the difference, aside from TS of the two? the look identical!?
No, your Nuke 10 has a massive motor whereas the Radioactive 10 has a normal looking motor. That is...unless you have a 10" PR with no motor. The dustcaps on the GZ's got larger as the levels increased. And whoever said the rest of their lines besides the Nuke weren't that good probably has never heard them. The Hydrogen's kicked serious butt and the Radioactive's were very solid performers.

Mmmmm 4hp //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif I think Im going to look into the current Nukes if this company still exists. They also make a "3000 watt amp" as well.

Pretty impressive looking drivers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/inlove.gif.6846f78f06b405429ef3a00129788a2a.gif Did you find out anything about them? Such as pricing?

well

i hooked my nuke up this weekend. i put it in a little more than 1.2 cubes. maybe 2+\- a bit. im not sure the tuning it was at because at 1.2 its ~37hz.

well. my amp only does 600rms @ 4. i couldnt hook up the full ~1000 (at 1ohm) or ~800 (at 2ohm) cuz its only SVC4 =(

the thing barely moved. i also didnt want to pump it too loud because my neighbors are moving, and they had an open house going on - so i only gave it a burp of maybe 300w

the problem was ~ the baffle for the RE SE was a little too large for the nuke. maybe 1\8th or 1\4 of an inch larger... so some of the screw holes were leaking badly. this took the output down quite a bit. but with 300~400w this thing was barely moving. i would not be surprised if this thing would pump just as hard as my RE SE.

is it just me or does that surround look very odd?

i got pictures. ill post them here sometime this week.

the 9500 mtx also uses that raised surround, as does the tc3hp.

my bro-in-law had a pair of gz's sealed in his firebird running off a pg m50....loud as hell! was also in 1.25ft^3 sealed apiece....simply amazing..

i have been told that the SVC gz tend to fall apart with heavy use...how true it is, i don't know..but that is what i was told by the (then) local gz retailer. i have no idea which ones my bro-in-law had as we never took them outa the box( he got the whole set-up used off one of his friends)...but i thought i'd pass that along and maybe nick or someone with extensive gz experience could verify or deny what i just said..

wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/peace.gif.2db28b618ed8d1964ebbe2f5021d2c39.gif
