how many cubes sealed? what type of VC's? Pics?

i put it in a .85 cube box and it reaches down low. off only 400 watts it shook my back hatch. its a single 4 ohm

I have a pair of Boston Pro 10.4 LF series. I used them with an Orion 225 HCCA, and at only 200 watts, they were probably the best SQ subs I have ever heard. Some others, like Alumapro, and Oz had some very very nice 10's, as well. However, I would let these go for $125, plus shipping. Of course, everyone has their own favs, but you did say you were on a budget. These are in good, working order, and look good cosmetically. BTW, they play best in a .75-1.25 CFT sealed box. And, have 250W cont pwr rating. Machined aluminum basket, and poly cone. They can be bought NEW through new old stock through Boston for $280 each. So, they were pretty expensive stuff when they were first released.

Just so I don't get accused of trying to foist my stuff off on you, I was planning to put them on ebay, anyway. Just thought I would give you first shot. I think Blue is on vacation, or busy working, but he agrees with me about the SQ of the Boston 10's.

Why not a Phoenix Gold RSD? They have great reviews and are cheap.

Recently installed 4 9KV2's in the roommates car. On 1600 watts sealed they pound harder and cleaner then 2 oldschool clif designs...

And they are in 1.2cubes sealed...

ID's do look nice. I was looking at these before I bought my PG's couple years back (Got the PG's for $100 a piece). Sort of sucks though I'm not able to hear many of these options first-hand, so I am going to end up going off of hear-say to a certain extent. There isn't anyplace within a 2 hour drive from me that has anything worth listening too.

I think they base it off the outer diameter of the speaker. Like a 12" speaker usually has a diameter of 12.5-12.7ish if u measure the whole thing (including rubber gasket on the side, etc) so they round it up and call each subwoofer model accordingly.
