H/U questions

Alright my question to everybody is if I should change the factory speaker wires that go to the door speakers and the back dash. I will be running those speaker of my H/U. I also have another question. I had a pioneer P43 cd player that blew its internal amp or something like that. I sent it to the company to get it fixed and they sent it back working and everything. Now what can I do to prevent this from happening again. i think ur safe with the wires, i wouldnt change them. i have the same hu and it is pretty good. i think it could be better but you get what you pay for. my advice is not to turn it up all the way and to watch what music you play in it. if u noticed, that thing gets really hot when playing it for a long time so just be careful.

I agree, you dont need to change the wires. Its too much work and everything and you wouldnt improve anything actually. I am sure you wouldnt be able to hear the SQ difference with some high quality new cables. Just leave them as they are.

I heard that Pioneer's 3400 and 4400 can get pretty hot, so you must provide enough space around them inside the deck (or perhaps mount some vent) and be careful with overpumping it.

You should be fine with the wires. Running new speaker wire take a while(as all the door panels, etc come off)...if you want a killer install, run new wire and amp the speakers. Make sure you dont cover the ventalation holes in the deck when mounting in your dash.
