Im not short...Im about 6' tall.

Its not bad at all actually. Passengers complain alot more than me, because of the way the dash is built in those trucks. Knees don't touch the dash when I drive and the seat is pretty much reclined a good bit.

if you take out the rear trim panel, 12-14" depth at the bottom is easy. i've got 1 Rsd 12 behind the drivers seat of mine with room to spare. will post pics soon.

definately! im looking into getting rid of my dakota and getting a reg cab ram and i wanna put 2 12's back there off 2kw. thinkin Q's and im halfway thinkin about mt's again..pm me with your pics or something when you get a chance. im gunna need pointers

Kicker, are you able to put you seats all the way back with that box?

Not "alllllll" the way back but enough so that I'm comfortable. I'm about 6'2"-6'3" so I'm not short by any means. The Atomic box is 1/2" deeper then the DP box so I should have a little bit more room. It is a very very very tight fit!!! I can't move the back of the seat without pulling the whole seat forward b/c its so tight. I'm hoping it will be worth all the work I've put into this box..

**** those boxes look like they can get pretty loud. i want to do something like that with my truck. workin on some plans right now for 3 cu.ft. for 2 12" SSD's. hopefully they get pretty loud. box wont be under cunstruction for a week or two but i will post pics during the process. and will make a vid once up and running.

Im at 3.15ft^3 NET after ALL displacements for 2 10" SSD's in a ported box tuned to 35hz

Box is almost done......Only thing left to do is make port and get more wood for the front peice.
