This guy isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer anyways...he is relisting this amp and his feedback is still showing where he tried to sell it to you and it was burned up....hell if your gonna be a scammer at least wait 30 days so the links in feedback dont work anymore...lol

i think i'm gonna ask him if it has been repaired

i emailed the guy on egay to find out who fixed it, what was replaced, etc....

im suprised he replied but here you go.

Dear ussoldier2281,

there were some resistors nothing big. mosfets are all still good the board has been redone with new heat sinx compound. person i bought it from used it for 2 12" cvr's. the shop i used was archers electronics in st.petersburg,fl its part of radioactive car audio a big shop over here. he's one of the few that experienced the great age of old school and has been rebuilding amps for years. he is very good friends with all the compnays down here in florida and even those retired. i have reciepts but thats out of the question due to the fact that i paid for the work so the only warranty would be from me.

Dear thefosgatemaster,

i wasnt worried about any warranty. i was asking about receipts or work order as proof it had been repaired since it was sold once before trashed.

Dear ussoldier2281,

actually it wasnt trashed the dumb ass who bought it didnt want to turn it on. it worked fine. the resistors were burnt on the insulation but were with in reason of resistance.

I have purchased old school amps that had emitter resistors so black that you could not read the values off of them via the color codes, but they still worked! OTOH, I have had amplifiers with emitter resistors that had a light brown spot and required replacement in order for the amp to operate properly.

Report his *** seabass
nothing they will do, he has the right to repair and resell. he better hope its repaired correctly because if not he is going to go through the same thing again. but i highly doubt it sells. i would be suprised.

yes and some components you cant see any signs of a problem. but these were clearly crispy. i have been around. into car audio for over 17 years, was in vocational electronics in h.s., and went to itt so he cant pull any wool over my eyes lol.
