Sounds like your prob giving them too much power.

Do you have 2 batteries under the hood or is it in your cab area?
2 group 75's under the hood a third group 31 at the amps and this... 250A 1998 - 2000 GMC Sonoma Jimmy Chevy Blazer 4.3L High 250 Amp NEW Alternator | eBay ... I know it's not a Singer or Mechman but it was keeping a solid 13.8V in the 4 ohm video... with the factory alt it was sub 10V before I installed the new alternator... so at least the new one IS putting out...

Ok, group 75 or 78? I'm really considering the area where the storage container is to throw in another battery in that area. That would require some mods and rearranging things. Gotta pic by chance?
under the hood are gp 78 and in the tool box they are gp31s

Wife's got the car at work... it IS her car...LOL!... I'll take some pics when she gets home.

looking for pics
After 5 pm tonight I'll shoot some and post them... did anyone watch the before/after comparison like the top comment alluded to?.. BIG difference... and yeah Boomin', I think I'm throwing a LITTLE over rated power at them... LOL!.. I hope I don't slag down the coils!

I would have to say your def maxed out. Just keep your eye on the subs....don't burn them up. If dustcaps feel warm/hot to touch, ease up on the volume a little.

Oh yeah man... I'll be watching closely... the Skars were only $199 each but I'd like to resell them eventually...

I'm trying but it does not look good... nobody wants a 50 year old who is severely disabled... all the work I've done on the Blazer has been good therapy but has taken a SUPREME effort.. even with the assistance of my 20 year old... only my love of sound has kept me going on this... what would have taken me 3 weeks before has taken me 6 months due to my condition... I have come to accept what my abilities have become... Work... IDK?... X's definitely next year!

And In a full size s well as your tahao you can buy a stock bolt in battery tray that bolts down with same bolts as storage compartment. I want to see if I can adapt trays that will hold gp 31 up front too and I think they will physically fit just gotta make trays fit.

How difficult is it to wire up 2 batteries?
Easy Peasy ! Just need a piece of 0 gauge to run from first battery over to second and ground it on the frame right below battery and your done ! I added a fuse on the 0 gauge between the two batterys also - I am old and use fuses on everything.

Was wondering about the battery tray. I can scrounge one up at the junkyard. But didn't know if it would bolt down in the same bolt loc's as the storage compartment or not. Just went and measured....I can fit max 10" length where the stock battery location is, so it fits into the tray still and 7" wide max. On the storage container side, it's a ballpark.

We're all old...Believe it or not, I'm in my early 40's. One look at me me and you'd be like no way... Btw....quad 8's in my post count //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I am in rebuild mode myself right now but I got most of the day off and went out to work on it but its just to hot to enjoy it and its know where near as hot here as there ! I think it was 104 today.
