Great Info on Gain/phase matching and why strapping ***** donkey balls

yup. best you could do is power match, you'll still be losing out several tenths of a db and several dbs where you might have cancellation. My buddy just rewired his amps and said his overall loudness improved slightly audibly, havent metered yet, but he said his 55+ hz response improved along with his subs reaching to 22 hz vs 24. Overall said the bass sounds a lot more cleaner.
I really want to do my setup ugggh.
there are way to load drivers to compensate.

so how would I wire my setup like the guy recommended in the video without going under 1 ohm at each amp. four D1 18s.
you know better. im talking about syncing and strapping. as long as phase is perfect you are good to go.

id parallel the subs coils and series the subs...

if you wire the coils parallel per sub thats .5 ohm. two per amp would yield 1 ohm nominal per amp. id suggest against wiring in series for output..

uhm thats just normal wiring exactly like how i have it right now which is useless. The way he wired in the video is completely different. It would help if you actually watched the video. He's using all 4 subs per amp split coils.

my whole car audio life has been a lie I wonder how many deebeez i've lost over the years.
It is always worth testing every option. The meter won't lie.

I've heard reports of guys just setting gains on all amps at max unclipped and gaining over trying to gain match in big SPL builds. What makes sense isn't always loudest on the meter.

Also I wonder how common that much variance is in outputs between two """identical""" amps. Seems like awfully shoddy build quality to me.

okay genius. Make your own video with actual testing equipment to prove your point. Because right now All his tests are backed up and proven on the oscope.
i don't care what he claims im telling you that ts a bad idea to have an unbalanced load. try it when you start smoking subs come back and ill explain why.

my friend that actually did it hasnt smoked his subs at all, he said coils and amps are running cooler than when he had it gain matched along with gaining output and sound quality. Explain that. Oh wait the guy already did in the video.

one coil has more amperage passing through. one coil is carring more current. loading is an acoustic issue. even with perfect phase if you don't match the gains EXACTLY your going to smoke a coil prematurely ..

ive been testing hotpots on coils for months now. take it how you want it but wiring coils to separate sources without perfect coupling and output is a bad idea. you phase match the amps output and wire the coils parallel. think about how the current passes trough the coils. if the load isn't balances your going to electrical load the driver killer the parameters having huge shifts its similar to acoustic loading.. if you want ill give you some trick on how to avoid acoustic loading.. the higher voltage menas one will lag(phase current imbalance). not to mention the saturation from the coil getting more power on the opposing coil as phase shifts(same principal phase current imbalance)..

on a serious note. i need help choosing woofers. lol

Again....better than anybody else w/o a single thing to back up your claim. Or your mouth.
are you ******* serious? you never cease to disgust me. i gave you an article on the **** **** because i "never have facts to back it up" and you are to stupid to assimilate or comprehend the article.

what don't you understand?
