Looks good. More importantly how does it sound?

IMO it sounds VERY good. Detailed, articulate, able to get respectably loud & remains clean, and most of all a pleasure to listen to.

It's wrapped in black carpet as these are still "temp" rings until I come up with a better idea. Still need a little more angle as 1 1/2" thick doesn't give me enough, but going thicker and trying to cut it/mount it will be a pain.

I just wrapped them, so all the laminated layers wouldn't show. I'm actually looking into getting a hunk of 3-4" diameter solid wood to make some nice rings, just haven't had time to call around and locate something.
