*drools* AMAZING. after i get my amp for my drivers, my next step will be to add another 6.5" eclipse set to my front stage. going to need to do some fabrication like that. not good at it tho... how much do u think a shop would charge to do something similiar to yours?

No idea what a shop would charge. Probably similar to custom fiberglass work I'm guessing, but no idea what they charge for that either.

For custom one off stuff you're better off trying it yourself IMO.

i guess so. i could always go to the junkyard, spend 50 bucks and buy identical door panels. use those as a test subject. my car also has the woodgrain paneling. so id probably do something similar to that.

That would be a good idea practicing on junkyard ones. I figured if I screwed em up bad enough I'd just buy replacements.

Finally had a chance to whip up some new tweeter mounts. Looks better and got them more on-axis, but I might make a wedge block to put underneath them, so they'll be right on. Countersunk them which left a nice little wooden lip showing.

i don't usually like woodgrain in cars, but man, that is nice. I wouldn't mind having something like that in my car.

I hate the cheap plastic woodgrain in my car so i was thinking of painting it navy blue to match the exterior of the car. would look really nice with my tan interior, imo
