Got myself a new car for my Bday today! Can you help me install sub/amp wiring today?

And they should be, but they aren't. Spend some time checking this **** out bro. You have to start testing......
Oops I replied twice. Anyway I'm guessing they just got pinched or put somewhere by accident when we were removing things and had the seats down.

Although some pro on this forum should be able to tell which end goes to the battery based on the connections to the CAP, notice how 3 are plugged into one end, and one of the knobs only has one plugged into it

If you're that fired up and willing to guess, take the cap out and wire your amp with the leads coming from the right side. If it doesn't work, then try the left. Good luck man.

Give the ones going into into the seat a tug. I bet the PO taped the ends up and poked them in there. Shouldn't be this hard to trace wires.
haha ok, I thought I tugged hard but not hard enough. They were just stuck somewhere like we guessed

So... those obviously go into the amp. The speaker cables go into the camp also. The RCA cables go into the amp. One of the "D cables" is the remote turn on for the amp, I'd need to figure out where in the amp it goes but I'm sure that's not hard (if anyone knows what the port on the amp will say let me know), Cable E the phone cable is the remote volume (should be the only phone looking port on the amp I'm assuming)

The only questions now are cable B, what is it? Also what is the other D cable if one of them is the turn on?

Pic again for reference

b is probably a remote turn on. cable d, who knows?

no one is going to be able to look at a picture and tell you. the only thing we could tell you for certain is F are power cables, A & D are speaker wires, C is RCAs, E is most likely a remote gain knob cable and B is maybe a remote turn on but it could be something else.

time for you to do some work before you blow something in your new car

Here I updated the pic for reference, mostly for myself.

Anyway I agree, I kinda think that B is the remote bass volume knob because it's one single wire and it's alone. Cables D are the exact same wire cables as the speaker cables and there are two of them. What the hell could they even be?

As far as testing, 1 I don't have a tester, 2 I don't know what I'd be testing for or how to read the tester, and 3 I don't know the lingo to understand what I'm reading. I'm moving 2000+ miles in two weeks and just out of time :/ thank you for all of your help so far

Cable B is probably remote turn on, verify with test light / dmm. Cable D looks like speaker wire, why would he run that back up front with the signal remote turn on and bass knob? Maybe he re-used the stock speaker wires and ran new ones from the amp back behind the HU to the harness. Just a guess.

cable b is definitely not a remote bass knob cable. most of them use a CAT5 or CAT6 cable, and some use RCA or 3.5mm jacks. B is going to be your remote turn on for the amp. It tells your amp to turn on. It is usually in between the power and ground terminals on the amp.

Thanks man

I can figure that out. So, what the other person said was correct? Cable D is the remote bass knob? As I said earlier, it looks exactly like the speaker wire. Why are there two wires for that? I'm just confused then

I'd love to have you guys help give me best guesses, if I take it to some Best Buy they are going to want to rewire and it would cost me a lot. I don't have any tools to test on my own though

A cap is "supposed" to keep juice to the amp so you don't have light dimming. They don't help. A big 3 upgrade is the way to go. The "phone jack" is your bass boost. We are seriously trying to help you here, but you cannot just guess on this.

you would not need to rewire it...

You have a power cable, rca's, remote wire..

If you got the amp disconnect the battery.. Connect the power cable to the amp 12v, connect the rcas to the rca connections, connect the remote wire to the remote.

Then im sure that farad cap has a ground so connect the ground to the amp then run some speaker wires from the amp to the subs..

Just 100% check all wire are correct before connecting your battery and make sure you have fuses in the correct spots.

You dont need years of experience. You just need 30 mins to a hour and lots of detail check.. Its not rocket science.

Well I'm not just guessing I'm here spending time making threads asking professionals lol. I don't have testing tools, I'm sure I'll take it to a Best Buy or something to confirm what I think once I have a general idea. Thanks bro.
