Got my alternator today.(Need help fast.)

is there a tensioner? how many belts does the car have? Just one serpentine? i bet you dont have something right.
Tensioner? Serpentine?

I hammered down the bottom bracket a little bit and now it bolts on perfectly. I just need to buy a bigger belt now.

 
Bottom bolt fits now on the bracket. I tried to push it in but it wont let me since the bolt hits the top.(you could see this clearly on the pic, and the bottom of the alt hits the bracket too so it wont go no further)

got the external regs ground on the alt, the negative stock connection that connects to the alt connects with a seperate ground that the external reg came with.(you could see me holding it in the pic)

The stock power wire that connects to the alt doesnt reach were it goes. :[ Is it safe to add on wire on it? Or could I just leave it disconected?

serpentine belt is just one belt for all the pulleys. The tensioner pulley is the pulley you adjust to make the belt loosen so you can take it off or tighten it.
My dad was telling me about the tensioner. He said I could move it so the belt could reach. I just dont know were it is. Ill take a look.

 
how in the hell did u get the belt off without releasing the tension. Wow just take it to a shop they would install it for maybe 25 bucks man
