**** dude that sucks. Expect some money out of your pocket, about a year of probation, MADD meeting, alcohol class, some community service. You might also get fvcked over and put on JAMs.

Been through the system before, it sucks ***, hope I never have to again....

Most of the people I know who have getting MIP's just had to pay a fine and had short term drivers license bans (like 6 months). I live in Michigan too, so that should be the worse you get.

yeah first time offense only get fines...they only mess with yur license if yur a repeat

Some counties are sweet though and will just issue you an alcohol citation and you pay the fee and your done. I dont think you have a chance to get it expunged though, if that matters.

I have all the right to question the cops. They already made up their mind about my friend, and he knew he wasn't getting anything. Maybe I'd actually get the cops to realize they were being bias as **** and let me go too

My buddy got one when he was 18 in the same county. They gave him a $300 fine, and class to take that was $70, 15 hours of community service. And if he was good for a year than there was no record. I thought misdemeanors didn't matter tho?

yeah I was a .107....numbers are numbers tho. If they let my friend go that was OVER the limit than why not let me go to? Plus my friend knew the cop too which was pretty funny. My other friends and their parents did not think the way the situation was handeled was right, but old news now...

obviously you can't read. I said my friend knew he was not gettin a ticket 5 minutes before they came to me. The cop said he was lucky. What the hell are they gonna do give him a citation after they just said he was fine

wow, thank you. My friend was already innocent and they said so, I was just questioning the system....hope it goes cool.
