Got an MIP in michigan

Well got a **** MIP, were driving home last night and cop pulled us over. Beer was all in the trunk. My buddy driving got an OWI and went to jail. Felt really bad for him. I ended up blowin a .11, been drinkin for 12 hours. My friend Cylan had 4 beers 30 min ago, and only blew a .028...he's also a volunteer firefighter, and the **** cops let him go with nothin. They said he blew too low to do anything, but the law is .02 and above is an mip. Lucky bastard. I even said right in from of the cops, "Wow, just cuz he's on the fire department he didn't get anything?" The cops had nothin to say.

Well I was shooting the shit with the cops, talkin bout ridin sleds and quads earlier. Had me pour out about 45 beers, sayin BUSCH in between the openings:laugh: Cops were cool tho, just seems unfair my one friend got off cuz hes on the department. Was thinkin of bringin that up to the prosecutor.

Well I hear its a $300 fine in michigan and maybe some probation. Anyone know how it goes? It's in Ionia county. Also the **** court date is the day when I am suppose to be on my trip to niagara falls in Canada. Do you think the prosecutor would move the date back a week if I tell him. Most of the people I know who have getting MIP's just had to pay a fine and had short term drivers license bans (like 6 months). I live in Michigan too, so that should be the worse you get.

Um no I wasn't. I was being straight up with the cops and they did not have a viable answer. Plus I when they asked about my friends, I had their back. Told the cops that my buddy didn't know bout the beer in the trunk, and didn't know who bought it for us...so STFU
