home electricity problem

well, i havent had power at my house for the last day, and we just now got it back. while it was out we had a generator powering a couple things. now since the power is back on, the things that the generator was powering arent coming back on. everything else is on. the main circuit breakers for the house are on, but just those couple things arent coming on. anyone know what the problem could be?

did you just run extention cords from the generator to the devices?

we have like a generator outlet in the garage, which goes to the room where the breakers are, then we have generator circuit breakers, which power a few things, when its on. and the generator was plugged into the outlet in the garage.

yeah, everything is on.

but, one of our electrical guys just got here, so hopefully he can fix the problem.

so it's basicly set up so you can run a genorator to the devices just by pluging the genorator into the wall huh??

yeah. i didnt see any surge protector thing, when i turned the breakers on.

Did you check and see if there are any fuses on anything?
