ID shits all over the Morels in this thread.
Is your amp the MRP-F300 4 channel? 50x4 @ 4ohm? 150x2 @ 4ohm bridged? If so you can bridge that amp and get some decent power to push some Morel's or CDT's easily.. then run the rears off the deck if you have them.
I am assuming those Morel's aren't all that high end compared to thier other lines. The MT23 was an amazing tweeter.. my LPG come no where close in comparison but is probably a given.
The Morel made Xtant 28mm tweeters are the MT23's.
Ive had the older Boston Pro series which are more like their Z-series (if still around) and they were good but a bit on the harsh side and a pain to tune. They got loud as hell though. I had the newer Boston Pro comps and they don't come close to taking the power the old ones did but didn't sound has bright as the older PRO line. If you are bothered by harsh tweets I would avoid the bostons. Even my Focal K2P was more laid back in comparison. The Focal KRX2 set I had was a bit better than the K2P but the Morel's have been the easiest to tune and listen to.

Nothing is proven in that thread. Just a bunch of guys drawing conclusions because they want it to be true. One guy even mentions the Fs is different than anything Morel has. I need to find my one working MT23 and send it to you. Maybe you can compare and let us know!
FS was different because it was never played prior to pulling TSP's. If you want go ahead, but based on my research Im 99% certain they are the same.
My girl has a set of Polyglass in her car on Memphis amp.. they sound great for being a lower end Focal line.
That makes sense. Being 6ohm what X-over did you use? Playing with cutoff points and slopes can really change the sound. Morel plays that tweeter pretty low with a 12db slope. I think it was 1.8 or 2.2 on my X-overs.. Id have to look. I have a pair of Elate X-overs if you are interested? They are made for those 6ohm tweets!
compared to the maximo 6's that are the bottom of the line morel??? lets face it bro, its not like you got the tempos or supremos or anything. what you got are a set of good lower end(morel) comps. my focals arent the bottom of the barrel but they aren't the top either. I am in no way saying mine are better than yours or vice versa, just ranting mainly.
I am using the mb quart amp in my sig to power them. They get very loud and sound crystal clear. Midbass is very impressive as well as vocals. The detail in the tweeters is equally amazing.
