Got all the new morel's installed today!

All I can say is holy ****! I did not expect them to be this good. I spent most of the day getting the comps in today and I am a fan for life,lol. I cant hear the 6x9's anymore , but the comps are unreal how clear and balanced they are . I will include some pics. The tweeter mounts were missing a peice so I made one from a old licence plate. Oh and I set up my entire system with a o scope. MY deck clips @ #22 on the volume and my amp clips @ 1/2 gain. One interesting thing is that I dont need to turn up my treble past flat.View attachment 26526856View attachment 26526855

they are the Morel Maximo's. They are 126 now but they were on sale for 81 for a while.

excellent price. i've been wanting to try some but cant seem to let my pioneers go.

I have 4 boston sr65 coaxials on my golf cart that are AMAZING! i cant get those lil things to distort even off 100rms each.

Those morels also get great reviews, just heard they werent all that loud (but i'm sure a strong enough amp can fix that)

I dont think you can go wrong either way.

I listed to alot of comps and for the money I think the morel comps aren't worth it..

Ive ran Boston, Focal, CDT, and Morel. By far Morel has been my favorite. Easy on the ears. I loved my Elate 6 2-way I had until I blew a tweeter (my fault). I have some dynaudio MD102 coming to take thier place though. I gotta keep trying new *****. Congrats on the Morels!

What kind of amp do you have pushing these? I'm trying to match some decent speakers up with my Alpine MRP-300 and these or the ID CTX65cs look like good choices. How many watts are you throwing at these?
