I've done it all, and in the end, Fiberglass resin with a layer of mat in the corner, while being overkill, keeps everything in place, seals the box quite well, and smells like ass....

Works for me.

Espically when working with hybrid glass wood boxes, nothing holds all those pieces togerher with the rings than the resin-mat combo...
