Here's the system I'm planning out

Sub - £150

Alpine SWR-1223D - Subwoofer

Amp - £210

Pioneer GM-D8400M Amplifier - Car Audio Direct

Speakers - £180

Alpine SPG-13C2 - Speakers

Multi channel amp - £81

JBL GT5-A604E Amplifier

Head unit - £130

Pioneer DEH-7300BT - Head Units

Battery - £150

Shuriken SK-BT8785DT Car battery engineered for car audio systems

Total £921, £79 left for wiring and sub box.

1.00 GBP = 1.64847 USD

so the total of it is $1648 roughly //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The price isn't to much of a bother for me as long as the system is going to sound really good. But i guess it's worth asking if it'd be cheaper to buy it all from USA sites and ship it over to the UK, the only problem i see their is the items are big/heavy and shipping may cost a fair bit.

But if you guys think the whole system will sound good, then the money isn't to much of a bother as i'm making all the money online during spare time i have.

Each purchase would be for 2 speakers so you would only need to order 2 sets so cut that 180 in half and thats what u would spend. Unless you need 8 speakers cause thats what you have listed to buy. Prob thought you were buying just 1 speaker when u are really getting 2.

Yeah, thats what i did :p

I know nothing of spl so I want comment but I know jbl and you will get rated from them. The polys are nice for sure. U dont need a 4channel if all u plan on running is one set of the polys unless you dnt plan on using the provided crossovers.
