Good Marine Sub?

My dad is looking for a good sub for the boat. It will be in a cutout in the inner hull in the cabin area, so it will need to perform well in IB. I'm not too sure of the amount of moisture it will be exposed to, and I'm not sure if any of the actual marine subs will perform in IB.

Any suggestions?

Personally I wouldn't limit yourself to a MARINE sub.

I've been messing with marine audio for 10-15 yrs (4-5 different setups) and only had one setup using strictly marine equipment and never had a water related problem.

These are all in 17-21ft ski boats that see a LOT of wet traffic.

I'm currently looking for a couple IB subs for my boat as well, planning to mount them in the footwells. I'm not at all worried about them being marine subs, but I will steer clear of untreated paper cones if I happen to run across that.
