An infrasonic (Autopage SIS-12) or ultrasonic (DEI 509U) sensor would stop them from coming in through the window. The only downside is your windows have to be rolled up when arming the alarm otherwise the sensor is useless. If they bump the truck hard enough it will go off, if they break the window it CAN go off but a lot of thieves know how to do this without setting the alarm off. As soon as they open a door the alarm will go off. If for some reason you leave a door open and they have a key, when they try and start the tuck the alarm will go off.
The thing I would worry about with your truck is the rear window, is it sliding? If it is then they can get in through there and possibly not set off the alarm. You can get a magnetic switch for it though so if it opens the alarm will go off.
I wish they would have had sensors like this in high school because crawling into the bed of the truck then having the rear window removed was a common way to have your truck broken into in the 80s.
