Gonna buy a cd player for the wife

well not my wife yet but I am looking to get her a cd player for her car and I would like some input and experience with some basic models. I currently have an AVIC-2 in my car which would be a bit much for her I think. I am looking for a single din unit that plays cds mp3s and has an ipod hook up. It needs to have simple functions on it that are easy to navigate. I would also really like if the display was purple to match her car. Any thoughts?
