2 12's will do well... you have enough room easily and you will have lots of space left over if you go with the recommended box... Here is a pic of 2 in a S-10 blazer 4 door with a 6" extension I put on to tune it to 28hz... http://i.imgur.com/h0lldsD.jpg ... Lots of space left over there!.. That box is 37.5 x 14 x 21 and surprised me as my build is a budget one.

yep 2 12's., even the ddx would be loud, i've read some killer reviews of the old model vvx saying they louder that other more expensive subs mentioned here.. but again look at the fu 750's and even ssa icons.. just settle on 2 12's with about 5-6 cf ported box and shop for those..

Id slap 3 american bass TNT 12's.

Im positive that you could get 147 out of the treo.

Funny,,,,I had 4 10's in my s10 blazer as well. it was a tight fit back there.

If you can get a 41x16x26.5"

3 12s. Would be louder then 2 12s.

Typically you want about 4" between the drivers and trunk

You could even do 44x14x27 subs up port back.

Yeah... IDK... I'd be wary of the box size this was a spec box in my Blazer with 3 EVL 12's... http://i.imgur.com/sizegdM.jpg ... that would be a TIGHT fit indeed in a Corolla trunk.

I'd quit trying to jam a bunch of subs and focus on a QUALITY pair in a good box with real power... 2500 is about where i'm at and that is nothing nowadays!..LOL!

I've decided on getting skar 12s and 2 skar 1500 mono blocks to tie me over until i can get the money to get what i truly want ( T213s by rockford) thank you man!

I ran 3 12's and recently switched it up... sold 1 and now run 2 in a much larger box. I got a notion then some advice from here and did it... this is how 2 turned out and I seem to have gained overall and make more efficient use of my power. Get a load of this... [http://i.imgur.com/BgrwbZT.jpg] ... in a Blazer not a Corolla. Think about it... you still need room to mount your equipment.
