Give me some comment i just tested a subwoofer i am producing

i dunno guys, this guy could be good. for 9 pages he has answerd peoples ignorance politely,his english is way better than any of our chineese, and he seems to me to be genuinely trying to learn and produce a good product (hopefully for a good price)

here is the thing,

if he has people who can build subs and you/we can guide him in the right direction about what works and what is needed, and he can put it together we have our own out of house personal sub builder, who can modd and change things on a dime.

personally i think this guy might be a great find,

its easy to make fun of his less than perfect english, if your an idiot. anyone can do that.

but if you are looking for a custom sub and have ideas about what you want but no-one in the us will set up the tooling to try it, this guy could be a good resource.

sure he could be a scammer, but there are already lots of scammers here so it aint no big thang if he is?

but if he is genuine and can produce a custom sub??????????

Call a speaker buildhouse, you too can design your own 'custom sub' and have it produced. Not like it hasn't been done here before, by members we already knew, and who already knew what they were doing.

Not trying to bash the guy. I agree, he's been more than polite in the face of rude replies left and right... he's a nice guy and I wish him luck. But I wouldn't hook my wagon to that star if I were you, not until its a proven winner.

First off , i would like to thanks you for your comment ,

is never easy to work on anything without the help of others ,

but one thing about me i don't get dishearted cos someone do not agree with me

I am still at the starter line and had many thing to learn ,

but one thing for sure is that i can only get better day by day . if i never give up on what ever i enjoy and do ,

There is still many thing to learn . and the rocky hill of making a good sub is relaly from alot of test and alot of feedback and info gather

i am from singapore , but i stay in thailand now ,

there is not much sercret that i am a business man , but i am also getting addicted to car audio , my sub is produce in taiwan . but the parts is imported from a few country , japan , denmark , germany , china - this is my 4 sources .

china now provide me with the metal frame for some - but alot of other parts is either imported or produce in taiwan itself

while i really had not put anything into a production line .

The only Video cam i got my younger sister got it , she is going to study on project to italy and soon goign to study in japan ,.

i got a coolpix 5000 which can make short clip but is without sound .

i am a photographer so the only thing i can do is take good photo for you .

but your suggestion had been hangin on my mind for a while .

The sub will be fitted in a car maybe in a few week time .

once i get it in the car i will Try my best to upload at least some video clip ..

Honestly I just don't think engineering subwoofers is for you. You seem to have a passion for it, as most of us on this forum do, but 99% of the people with a passion for it don't have what it takes to design a proven performer.

buy great products...install them...call it a day?

Well i partly agree with what you say ,

But we got to start some where , i may fail on the process but is the process that would be fun and enjoying , like everyone with a passion to do it .

is a matter if you willing to do that extra mile to make it work , or just say is too hard so is not for me .

but i value all advice and comment , for this will be my building stone for my work ,

i am sure if i don't try i will never success , and if i do try , still have that 1% which is enough

so if i try a 99 time , i will success 1 time and get a performer

I have to agree with 60ndown. Osix, you have taken criticism far better than i could, and you do speak better english than any of us speak chineese.

Also, i am glad to see you go to the round. The round shape can by it's nature support more SQ than a Square can.

I also apologize for the for the rest of my American friends who insult Asia just because it is different. Please do not judge my entire country by those few who insult you just for fun.

While i am unsure as to whether or not you will be able to produce anything to compete with your limited knowledge, you have done more speaker producing than most of us here. Just be patient and keep trying.

I agree with you 110%. Some people have to tear down others just to make them selves feel better. Those are the people who make it worse for others in the same race. Discrimitating is a f---ing thing of the past. Keep doing what you do and let the critics fuel your passion. I have plenty of Ideas, not the resources, let me know if you need any suggestions. i would make it round, i never liked square subs. and svc 4 @ 500w sounds good, but 2ohms isnt bad either

Guys you'll are great , i never judge any person till i go out have a meal with them .

no disrespect what so ever is taken . i understand that amercia is a free country and everyone have the right to their own view .

just cos there do not like me or disagree with me , is no good reason to dislike them ,

one can only imporve or learn if he is willing to listen and welcome all kinda comment , at least that what i think so .

Last but not least , i am fine with the negative comment . i am sure there have their reason when there said so , i myself know that there is alot of product that is out just to get the money .

i hope when i have the sub in production it would be a product build by someone who love car audio for people who love car audio

The fact is being a small project i am unable to reduce cost to the lowest even if i start selling it . but i will discount no effort to provide a good sub
