Girl in need of some help!!!

Hey everyone,

I just installed my first car stereo on my 98 Honda Accord....Yay for me because I'm a girl. I bought a Pioneer DEH-P4000UB and i thought it went well......however thats why im here. All my speakers work proper. The cd player works but the radio doesnt work at all. Its pure fuzz....i dont get it. The only thing i didnt plug in was my blue/white wires

Did u plug the antenna plug in back of the deck?

Do you have a power antenna? if so wire up the solid blue to the solid blue in your wiring harness....

if the pioneer harness doesn't have a solid blue, use the blue/white to the blue

is your antenna lead plugged in?

thats the antenna wire, straight blue is remote, white and blue is antenna

in many cases the power antenna wire is blue. when you turn on the radio does your antenna rise? if not that is the problem. Also make sure that your antenna is plugged in properly to the back of your head unit.

Yep i plugged it in...just not the wires

You probably forgot to plug in the antenna cable...I've done it myself once or twice

i dont have a power antenna. its always standing on its own. i did plug it into the deck. i just left the blue wires not hooked up cause i wasnt sure of them...

um..so no power antenna and the antenna is plugged in? then the wiring isn't the fault... you my lady have a bad tuner or a bad antenna

double check that your antenna plug is properly connected and has not been cut in the past and re attached. this happened in one of my cars and took me forever to figure it out. did you replace another aftermarket head unit or the factory head unit?
