ya, go see the car 1st, make sure it actually exists....
and only pay through paypal. Just say no to bidpay, western union, or sending money orders.

if you've seen the car, and are purchasing it in person, then just pay with cash or whatever.

in other words, if he wants a deposit within 24 hours, he should let you come look at the car within 24 hours...

send him your monies then go check to see if he has the car in a month. if he still has it he wasnt going to jack you so go to his door and say ok ill take the car now,.

lol, i do ahve a car just not toatally MINE so i can't really do anything with it. The reason I can't buy a stock car is beacuase my parents wont buy me a car i have to pay for it myself while they pay for gas and insurance. I haven't gotten an email back from him and honestly I am a little suspicious but seeing is believing and he's not that far from where i live so it wont hurt to at least take a look. I don't even care if it doesn't have a/c my dads car doesn't and it never REALLLY bothered me but we'll see.

The winning bidder, received a positive feedback left by the seller stating "easy transaction, fast pickup and payment"

So, I'd say it's some scam.

Actually, after looking at this feedback closer.It's really quite weird. That was the 2nd time he sold THE SAME CAR! Yet again, low feedback buyers.This guy is a piece of shit scammer, and obviously has multiple accounts.I found all this out in a matter of 10-15 min. just browsing.Only a sucker would've actually bid on that car, had they looked into it.

my first car was also a caprice,78 2 door model - although very relaible with its small 305 V8 it was hardly my dream car...

personally I would pass on that one,it looks like a monkey put it together

it's really not the fact the a/c doesn't work (i live in michigan and i cannot have a vehicle without a/c) but he says he shorted it out installing a headunit? guy sounds like a butcher to me. idk how you short out an a/c system installing a deck. i can just imagine what the system looks like
