well a bout 2 weeks ago i bid a max bid of around 1500 for this car, the bid went up to around 5000 but i just got an email from the guy saying the other guy backed out so i get a second chance. He lives in FL too so i can go and take a look at it before i buy.. IF i do get this car the system would be new about every 5 months i would just get tired of it and pretty much rebuild. If it is a scam I would check everything over He and I both live in Florida so it would be a cash payment and everything would be checked by my dads mechanic so no worries.

why not try to get a stock car, then make your own mods to it instead of getting it all how someone else wanted it.

and... who would let a car go for $1500 when bidding made it upto $5100?

that just seems stupid to me...

winning bidder will pay $500 deposit within 24 hrs of auction ending and will pay remaning balance when car is picked up

yeah, I'm guessing he wants $500 from you... and you'll never hear from him again...

Because logically, there's got to be a higher bid than $1.5k that was entered before the auction closed...so unless he (the guy who backed out) was the only other bidder, the actual second highest bid would be a lot higher.

But at least if it's local, the buyer could go after the guy if he takes the deposit and runs.

you could always organise to pay the full amount for the car, in person, when you go to look at it, and refuse to pay a deposit...

ya, go see the car 1st, make sure it actually exists....

and only pay through paypal. Just say no to bidpay, western union, or sending money orders.

the only issue is the ac needs to be fixed i shorted it out while working behind the deck. there is no need for the ac anyway in a car this loud. you will drive with the windows down. the system can breath and play better and louder with the windows down. you will want everyone to hear it anyway. it has a pioneer high volt deck and 12 disc pioneer changer in the glove box.

that right there would've turned me off
