General opinions 18" or two 10"

so does that mean it would take 4 10s to get to the cone area of 1 18 ??
3 tens = 235.5 square inches, which is just under the area of one 18 at 254 square inches.

Again, flat circles, no cone slope, or cone depth, considered.

lol **** they are big when i finish moving i have to buy one Anyone think 1 18 in a camaro will be flex monster like a 8 cube box tuned to 35 or 33
Pic of hatch? I doubt it, if the hatch looks like I think it does, you'd be lucky to get 4 cubes, unless you did a creative wall design.

If by slpoe you mean depth of the cone, that doesn't not factor into effective radiating surface area.
Yes, that is what I meant. I wasn't sure if the cone depth, or cone slope, is considered in "cone area". Tks.

No problem.
A few companies years ago actually tried to claim their 'deep' cones increased cone area, but it was simply a gimmick to entice sales. The most notably of which was Xtant.

Deeper cones however do tend to help with cone rigidity.
