my caprice gets 220 miles to a tank, and it has a 26 gallon tank //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif 427 ftl
it's called a recharge kit IIRCK & N type....re-usable
this is another option....any air leaks the engine has will cause it to run lean and the computer will try to compensate with more gas.Mine has gone to shit here recently to, but mine was from a vaccum line leak. PCV valve had to be replaced.
yesit's called a recharge kit IIRC
i just blow mine out with the air compressor
i do it every oil change or more. never can be too clean. just have to be really careful with it so it doesnt get fuxdby cleaning the MAF,youd be surprised how much difference this alone makes.i do it bout 3 times a year
EGR is not required....I disconnected it from my passport and the mav never had it.speaking of egr valves, i removed all the emissions crap off my 81 pontiac which was the cat. converter, smog pump, etc etc. I put a rubber cap over the vaccum fitting for the egr valve, should it be actually hooked up so it has a vaccum on it? Also it has 2 MAP sensors on it, both have vacuum fittings, should both be hooked up? When i got it it only had one hooked up, and shows 1 on the vacuum diagram. Each sensor has a diff model number as well
the mass airflow sensor is located in the intake path somewhere....usually just after the air cleaner.I know what a MAF is, but where is it located??
Their is not fuel filter on this car, i believe just a pcv valve of something. Thats what the dealer told meHow bad is it on these Hondas? I did it on my Buick and it was a nightmare...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
