Gain question

When using a remote bass control for an amp does it do the same thing as the gain knob on the amp? Ie: If I turn the remote knob all the way up is that the same as turning the gain on the amp all the way up?

When you turn the remote knob all the way up it goes to whatever you have the gain set to on the amp...doesnt turn the amp all the way up unless you have the gain turned all the way up.

No problem. Only reason I knew the answer is because I asked the same question on here about 2 days ago. lol
