ok, just to make sure. i have read the thing about the gain and all that and, how to adjust it. i have some questions. should i turn the bass boost down all the way then adjust the gain. or do i turn the bass boost all the way up then adjust the gain or, what? i dont have a meter either. only one for DC.

Turn the bass boost off, and leave it off.

And go to your nearest hardware store and buy a DMM.

Digital multimeter...at minimum, measures voltage, impedance/resistance, and amperage.

Required tool if you do anything with mobile audio.
