Hmmm. seems 400ish watts on a single 10" Ultimax isn't "doing it" for me. Luckily I haven't moved the two P3 10's from the living room yet. I think they will go in before work tomorrow. 1000 - 1200w rms is probably a better idea anyway lol.

Swapped the P3's into the car. Running at 1 ohm, set with a -10db 40hz tone and set voltage to 33.55v with a smooth sine wave. No clipping. They are crossed over at 80hz. I hit them with some kick drums and yeah... single 10 just doesn't do it.

Depends on how much power you put to it
One 10 on 400 is never going to compare to 2 on 1200
I'm running 1 10 on about 1500 and it's getting the job done although my 2 12 off the same amp were louder.
Looks good, IDK why but I love the look of those white amps.
Maybe it reminds me of being out on the boat

That is a marine amplifier from them hence the color. The standard version is the old style looking blue they used to use. Those are getting sold quite often now as they are korean boards and putting out what they claim.

True, that little Soundstream is outstanding. I don't mind running both 10's. Takes up almost the same trunk space.

Anyone know of some decent Bi-ampable 2-way components. I know the newest eXcelons are bi-ampable.

The RF Power T2 component set is bi-ampable. 100w rms to the midbass and 75w rms to the tweeter according to their literature. Looks like a good match for the Head Unit as I can make it 3-way active (Twt, Mid, Sub) on the RCA outputs. I will do this next.

I have noticed some panels in the car vibrating. The center dash where the head unit is mounted is rattling. I have some material here for exactly that issue. I will need to order some more sound deadening for the doors.

I can use the front channels of the Soundstream for the tweeters (-5db 1kHz tone set to 17.32v @4ohm - 75w)
I can use the rear channels of the Soundstream for the mids (-5db 1kHz tone set to 20v @4ohm - 100w)
I have the subs set on the RF 1200-1D (-10db 40hz tone set to 33.55v @1ohm - 1125w)

I know, I know... these are tones and on music it will not be these quoted wattage. However the amps wont clip, all channels will be clean with headroom. As it sits now I can listen to the stereo on Max volume 40 out of 40 for a few minutes before I tap out, bass knob a little less than 3/4 of the way up but can go full tilt with no sub distortion and the only noticeable problem is the oem tweeters. Those poor little plastic tweeters. Won't be long lol.

WoooHooo!!! Found my Hole Saw set. Now I can put my Dayton Tweeters in the car and the hole size is exactly the same as the RF T2T Power tweeters so as soon as I get the components I can just drop in the Fosgates.
