G6 GT Transplant/New Build

It really is crazy how a really good detail can get you that much more money. People get stuck on how shiny and clean everything is they tend to ignore all the imperfections
 
That car needed Jesus. But my old boss owns it now.

Got some parts coming for the 4 door G6. Brake rotors, brake pads, front brake calipers, turn signal stalk, passenger window switch and LED interior lights. I forgot to transplant those before I sold the other car. I am still trying to decide if I want to use my steering wheel to control the Kenwood. I would just need to get the module and add it to my harness as I planned for it a while back. I also have a reverse camera in my closet that I may add as well.
 
Car tried to kill me today. Jerked me off the road at 45mph. I am a professional driver so I shook it off but damn...

Did all that and the car started messing up again. Same crap... brakes feel like they are dragging and the wheel is REALLY hot. Being that all those parts are new it is down to one last culprit. The rubber brake line. They can get damaged and fail internally and act like a check valve... push fluid to the caliper but not let it flow back to let the piston relax. It twill be replaced come the morrow.
 
Rubber brake line replaced. Wheels are the same temp now. Letting off the brake pedal at a light allows the car to roll forward on its own now. Only one casualty... My cell phone. I placed it on the roof to keep it safe as I worked on the car. Went for the test ride and in the rear view mirror saw it slide down the back glass, bounce onto the trunk then slide off to the side onto the road. Cracks galore but still fully functional. I will replace it with a G7 ThinQ. Makes me sad.
 
The car is forcing me to take some time off work. Radiator busted. New one should be here Tue. the 29th.

While I have some time I am going to add some tweeters to the car. When I sold the G6 coupe I forgot my ARC audio tweeters and Silverflutes in the doors so all I have left now are my used DD T2b silk domes and my new Dayton Audio 1" titanium domes.

The DD's are "25w - 150w" 90db and sound great.
The Daytons are "40w - 80w" 95db and their graph shows excellent off axis response and would mount easier.

The signal chain will be/is Kenwood (in network mode) to Soundstream 4 channel (Mids in lower door - Tweets in A-Pillar corners) to RF Prime 1200-1D (2-10" RF P3 @ 1ohm). Time alignment, distances and delays handled by the Kenwood head unit. I am leaning heavily towards the Dayton tweeters simply because they are metal domes. The last metal domes I had were the Massive CT1a's and they were really crisp until I broke one... well it broke. My ears aren't what they used to be and highs tend to roll off for me above about 15khz. I am thinking the Ti domes will brighten things up.

I am struggling with how I want to mount them. I can flush surface mount them by drilling through the factory tweeter mount or mount them from behind in the factory tweeter mounts. I do have the correct hole saw to flush mount them but then they would be visible. As it sits now, all you can see of any audio products is the head unit. What to do, what to do?
 
No offense seriously not gonna highjack your thread but I can't believe you didn't learn you lesson with the first one. Why would you by another one? Bruh.
The car itself is fine... the Chinese made radiator they put in the G6's is garbage. It had 100,000 less miles on it and when not leaking coolant, runs much better than the other one. Couple days it will be fixed.
