cool thanks again jmac you been a great help for me tonight sorry bout spamming my questions =P getting my info before i actually set all my stuff up =D

is 100 amp enough for the JBL 1200.1? im asking since it uses 3 fuses of 40 amp each = 120amp total.

Originally posted by Jmac Yup, unless you're running sine waves for over a minute, it shouldn't be a problem ... you can always get a 140 ampere circuit breaker or a 120 ampere ANL fuse if you're going to be running bass tests for long periods of time ... They're the same price, although I'd go with the circuit breaker because it's much more cost effective.
yes i must have gone through atleast 7 fuses before i switched to a circuit breaker. Although i was running a JBL 1200.1 on 60 amp fuses....no wonder they blew //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

I plan on getting the fuse to run as a front sub/midbass in my kick panels...I've heard they sound good but you definitely wont get mirror shaking...

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

Sounds like a bad ground or wiring problem on the 12v+ side.
