I have a single kicker CVX 12 In a ported box with a 1200watt SPL amplifier, every time I bridge my amp my fuse goes bad, it DOESNT blow but when I test the continuity of the fuse there is none. I've been buying 60amp AGU fuses from o'reillys and I've been threw 5-6 fuses already

P.S. I don't blast my music to the point it distorts I don't even turn it up that loud and yes I'm very aware I have a cheap Chinese amp, Idgaf

what impedance is your sub??

If there is no continuity in the fuse... I'm pretty sure it blew. Especially if switching the fuse solves the problem.

I don't know the figures on your amp, but you may need a slightly larger fuse (like 100 amp or something)

I think Boomsday may be wondering if you ran your amp at too low of an impedance. Even if you don't turn it up all the way, the amp can still draw enough current to blow a fuse

Thinking about this... Yes there would be a direct connection to the battery. The question is, how is that feed supplied? For 50 amps you would...

It would be cheaper, it might be easier to find a place to mount it, and you would have a ton of options if you just do two, 3 slot fuse holders...

My bad, yes, I read them each as having two 4ohm coils. The JBL diagram left a bit to be desired, IMO. ;) And a double yes, thought U was talking...

I plan on getting the fuse to run as a front sub/midbass in my kick panels...I've heard they sound good but you definitely wont get mirror shaking...
