Dude, WTF are you talking about. The problem isn't how the subs are wired, the problem is that the amp is drawing more than 60 amps of current. The wiring may not be your problem. What model DMM did you buy, or post a a pic of it if you can.
eh i already told him the amp is drawing more than the fuse is rated for but hey who cares what we say people have to make it more complicated and send the guy in a dead end so he will never touch car audio again...Dude, WTF are you talking about. Technically a larger fuse would solve the problem of the blowing fuses, but if the wire is only rated at 60 amps and he puts a 80 amp fuse in, it will melt the wire when it tries to draw the extra 20 amps that the wire can't handle.
Before you show how ignorant you are, just know that when it comes to troubleshooting, you start with the simple problems first. You have to rule out small indiscreet problems, and then work your way up to the larger ones. A DMM is never an optional tool to have when it relates to car audio.Dude, WTF are you talking about. Man, at least when I'm not 100% sure on something, I don't give advice to people...eh i already told him the amp is drawing more than the fuse is rated for but hey who cares what we say people have to make it more complicated and send the guy in a dead end so he will never touch car audio again...
I guess we will see who is right then. lulzBefore you show how ignorant you are, just know that when it comes to troubleshooting, you start with the simple problems first. How am I sending him to a dead end by telling him to simply check his impedance load first? If he'd already had one (Like we all should), this would have been a simple go out and check before you go spend an additional x amount of $ on all new wiring. Let alone, a shop installed his gear, which means that he obviously couldn't do the fix himself. But never mind checking the small stuff first, that wouldn't make any sense at all.eh i already told him the amp is drawing more than the fuse is rated for but hey who cares what we say people have to make it more complicated and send the guy in a dead end so he will never touch car audio again...
