Fuse block question.

Attached is an image of the fuse holder that just came in with my kicker 4 gauge amp kit. Just have a very basic question but what is the area circled in red for? Do i need to tighten those screws down to touch that middle plate?

No the fuse is further back, see the 100 in the picture.

i thought thats where the MAXI fuse went if you were using 1 of those which u are not!!!

Yeah those are for much smaller fuses, like if your running only a couple hundred watts or so. But like the 300amp ANL fuses go in the big spot, like yours is.
