heres the story i was coming home from a waterpark 4 days ago when my amp turned off i checked the fuses on the amp and they were good so i look under my hood and saw that my inline fuse and the case it was in had melted from the side closer to the battery it had a 100amp fuse and im using 4ga wire hooked up to a lanzar vibe 2000watt amp iv had the amp in the car for about 4 months with no problems so i put a differnt inline fuseholder in there with an 80amp fuse and when i turned it on one of my power acoustik fubr 10's was blowin so i just had one going it worked fine all day at nite i was waiting for my gf to get off work i decided to brige my other sub to the amp it worked great as loud if not louder then both of the going i plaed it for about 30 minutes with the car off but when i turend the car on the fuse blew so i hooked the power wire with no fuse and after one minute the amp goes out iv tryed two other amps and they all do the same thing.could it be my battery going bad or my preout on the hu.
