fu(ked up night..need help

Call your insurance agent and ask, dont tell him you got one, but just ask. I dont know about what the fines would be in AR but my speeding ticket was 13 over in a school zone, and i hired a lawyer to get it off my record. Total cost was about $300.

Go to the judge that hears the cases and ask him how to get on the deferred program. You will have to go through a drivers training class, most likely at home, on your own time through a series of tapes.

It will wipe it off your record, the fine is a whole lot smaller, no points off the license and no rate hikes on your insurance.

You just can't get another moving violation within a year or it all gets put back on your record...

I had to do that when I was 17, only it was a mandatory 8 hour class I had to attend.

I took it when I was 16, they just sent me home with like 4 or 5 VHS tapes and a book of questions I had to complete...sent it back to the judge and everything got deferred.

yea well ur still lucky, i got every deputy in the 4 counties next to me wanting to pull me over cuz i'm not 16. i mean almost every deputy. guess i'll be driving my dads truck for awhile.

When I was 17 I got a ticket for going 81 in a 70 on the interstate. Funny thing is there were like 5 people passing me at the time. But anyways I went to cort and the judge droped the ticket off my record and didnt make me pay it. But she also suspended my DL for 6 months. First offence and everything just shity luck I guess.

The easiest way to solve the problem is to go talk to the court attorny. Usually they will make it a different violation....all u gotta do is pay the higher cost(300-400) and/or take a drivin class. It will not be on your record...

heres a trick so your insurance wont find out or go up. Tell the judge that u were stupid, just being a normal teenager(if u are), and she might drop it a bit, but then ask for $30 days to pay it, they will send u a check, send them the total plus $3 extra dollars, then they will send a check back for $3, and just rip it up and throw it away. Then, they cant close the case, cause u didn't cash the check.

Whether it's closed or not, the insurance companies can still find out it's on your record. As of just a couple years ago, insurance companies have access to that information instantly and for free now (they used to have to subscribe to a service and it would tkae months to actually show up on your record). About 4 years ago I got a ticket and never told my insurance company, and they never changed my rates. About 5 months ago I got a ticket at 7:30am on my way to work and my insurance agent knew by 7:45 and called me at work (it was a bad ticket).
