Sold FS: 12" sub for sale (new)

To be honest, I dont know exactly what it would compare to. But i have seen others do comparisons of it with MTX 9500, Kicker SoloX12, JL W7. Also I saw a post someone comparing it to Mmats Juggernaut. In that post they said they would go with the Juggernaut, but because of the price difference and since the H2 can play more frequencies they would go with that (i think the price difference was 200). Here is the link for that: http://forums.trinituner.com/forums/viewtopic.php?printertopic=1&t=51321&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&vote=viewresult

I had the 12.4 (dual 4 ohm version) of the sub hooked up to a Soundstram XTA720.4 amp. Unfortunately it blew a voice coil thanks to a crappy ebayer selling a busted amp. Even with the blown voice coil it hit pretty hard on that amp. It was bridged on the first 2 channels and it does 360x2 @ 4 ohms wiht that configuration. I have another H2 (i got two, keeping one) and i have that hooked up to my home stereo receiver with 115w max power on a 1979 rotel receiver. It hits harder than some people I see driving around with their systems.

Like I said, I'm not sure exactly what it would compare to but I know its known to put out some mean bass, being that it is an SPL sub. If someone wishes to help me out feel free. I plan on running an Orion 2500d amp to the one I'm keeping. I just remembered. I have a video of the one hooked up to my receiver. Not sure if you need a myspace account, but if you have one here is the link. http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoID=674600595&n=2&Mytoken=C9460DD4-712B-C0E0-6F2A12C3C08ECE9940208893

Sorry about the long post, just wanna be as informative as possible //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

how many Watts can it take? how deep (tall) is it?
2000w rms, 2500w max according to the Orion website...they are CEA certified. I called Directed a while back and they recommend giving it at least 1100w rms to the sub, but you can give it less, just as long as youre giving it clean power and no distortion. Like i mentioned earlier i was underpowering it and it still sounded good. Mounting depth is 8" according to the website. By the way, i forgot to mention it was about 40 lbs. The sub in its shipping packaging weighs approx 45 lbs. Anymore quetions, feel free to ask.
