That makes sense... but if the DIY speaker Im getting is 8 ohms and they say it should get about 70 watts... the 100.4 probablly wont be enough will it? But could I use this amp as my amp for my subs? Or possibly 800.1 if they have one?Rule #1 in car audio.
Consider the power/size ratio of the Massive amp. The form factor on that amp is impressive. Form factor meaning how much power per square foot or square inch you get out of it.
There's no way any of the amps listed is too much power for your speakers. In fact, you could take any of them and bridge them to your speakers and the results will be clearer, more dynamic and LOUDER (which you want, right?) music. Power doesn't kill speakers, people do. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
True, if you double the resistance you halve the power. But the efficiency of the driver typically makes up for it. Those mids have a 88.5 db (2.8v/1m) sensitivty so I really don't think you'll notice a huge difference. http://seas.no/Prestige%20Basser%20PDF/ER18RNX-H1456-08.pdfThat makes sense... but if the DIY speaker Im getting is 8 ohms and they say it should get about 70 watts... the 100.4 probablly wont be enough will it? The subs should get 700 watts together from what I gather... So possible 2 of these one for the FS one for sub stage. But I would prefer a class D for the sub so its more efficient... but eitherway is there enough wattage in the 400.4 for the 8 ohm speaker craving 70 watts
Oh, I feel so honored! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gifSorry forgot bout that they are single 4 ohms so 2 ohms? I think I will pick up the 400.4 if its gonna work for that... the 50 watts into it rather then the 70 or 80... Fox Im gonna trust you because most posts I have seen from you you know what your talking about. Thank you.
If you can suggest an amp for my subs that would be amazing as well.
And if anyone can point me in the direction of what wires I need that would be great because I want to order those along with my amps either tonight or tomorrow.
Kinda confused on how the sub one works, my understanding was the amp needed 700 watts at 2 ohms... I get that these are supposed to under rated big time but I didnt see the 5001 on there to compare to...Oh, I feel so honored! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

How'd I do? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif
If you want matching amps and to deal with the same company, yes. MB offers free shipping over $200....but you'd have to check the total weight as it must be below 30# IIRC.Alright so you would say that those amps are my best bets and will do enough? The one for the front stage will provide me with plenty of power right? Maybe more then the cadence would?
In a sec I'll look to see if I can figure out the wiring ....
