He wants name brands so Adire and RE won't do?

So what are they refering to when they say Adire and RE?

I believe it is the NAME of their BRAND...

Not to mention these offbrands are better than any of the true namebrands that you appear to be speaking of.

That is like saying Levi's are better than Seven for all Mankind brand jeans because their a name brand...When the reality is that the latter is far better, just more unknown...but still a namebrand.

I agree 100%, but he wants something that everybody in God's name knows of. I showed him the RE line up, as well as other more internet companies, and he shot them down one at a time.

He was showing me the stuff he wants today in class, and he is stuck between the a Kicker L7 (silver cone) and a Type R. Whats yalls opinions? I told him the Type R has the ability to get really loud and hold pretty good sq, where as the L7 doesn't generally doesn't have the sq the type r does.

As for the amp situation, he actually offered to buy my Hifonics ZX6400 (4 x 170w at 2 ohms, 2 x 340w at 4 ohms) for $140. I told him it would work, but I didnt want to sell it. But I got to thinking, and it would be nice to have a decent 2 channel amp that would allow me to have my CDTs running in stereo instead of mono. So, I might offer it to him. What do yall think?
