Fresh install (pics)

it also serves as a nice bottleneck to prevent your amp from doing as much power as it could //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I dont need my amp to do as much power as it can. I need it to do as much as I want it to, and I want it to do it without crippling my entire vehicles electrical system.

and the cap does absolutly nothing to prevent that from happening //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
It keeps my voltage more stable. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif

It makes your alt work harder in doing so. Caps are a band-aid to a bigger problem. If you're having voltage issues, then upgrading the CHARGING system is the only way to really "cure the illness." This includes upgrading big 3, having better/shorter runs of ground/power wire, and getting a HO alt.

The alt is where all of your power comes from. How do you think the cap gets it's charge??? From the alt, which is now having to work more because it has more things to charge...

not to bash, but.....1. ground up front is no good.

2. cut the wires shorter in back, would clean it up and make it look a lot better

3. box should have a lot more port area

4. another amp

5. loose the cap
another amp?? are you f***** serious?!

and the port is fine....

the box is set at about 53 hz i think.
