take all the screws out... they are hidden so look carefully. PULL. you should hear pops and snapping, but if u took out all the screws then that should be the christmas tree snaps.

 
yeah i think there are only like 2 or 3. make sure u get that one on the inside by the part where u grip to close the door. I have a 97 sable which basically is the same thing - it isnt that bad.
