Ford SVT Lightning F-150

Is it just me or does this truck have a little bit of trouble in the throttle response area...Ive noticed it the times I have driven a friends...I know I have sensed a better throttle response on vehicles less likely to have one...its nothing too major, but next time your in one, try it out and see for yourself.

ill make sure to do that the next time im in one. lol. i dont even see anybody that can afford taht truck around here....let alone know someone that will let me drive it. i wish i had one though.

well the thing is....those trucks mainly appeal to teenagers and young adults. and all the teenagers and young adults here dont have that kind of money to spend on a vehicle. so tahst probably why i have yet to see one around here. but when i went down to myrtle beach and florida.....yeah i saw quite a few.

oh plenty of people around here have the money....theyd rather have a benz or BMW or escalade tho...

The 4 speed auto isnt something Ford should be proud of, either. How about just a nice 5 speed?

18" rims...not bad, could opt for a set of 20's...but when the factory sets out and drops it 2"...I want a little bit more sidewall please.

Only 5 stock color choices?

40/60 bench seat? Not a chance...buckets with a console next time.

41 inches of leg room...not bad, though uncomfortable for those up around 6'4.

Max speed of 142mph in 4th....thats not bad.

Lots of negative things, though lots of positives at the same time.

Chevy should have produced the Silverado SS

yes when it says svt it also means it is a lightning...i would have loved to see what the SS could have done but from the tests i seen i would have been pushed around by the svt....maybe in a few years they'll get their act together and build a kick ass truck to put that ford in it's place ...do they not have a manual tranny for the svt...if not thats kind of a waste....all that power in an auto...no fun //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/nono.gif.eca61d170185779e0921b0faa9704973.gif .....and has anyone heard anything about ford's boss 5.9 or .7 or .2 or w/e the heck it is...anyone got the chance to drive one????they sound better than the svts
