For those into aftermarket rims...

well im going to get rid of my aftermaket rims and put some 22s on the montero sport. Is there anything i need to know when purchasing them besides...do they fit. I have a 6x5.5 lug pattern and a 4.25" centerbore diameter. Anything else i need to know and anthing else that i would need to get done? I know im going to need to get it rotated and balanced but is that basically it?

ok i been doing some research and a hub centric ring looks like something that would be important. Anyone know anything about these? Its already hard enough to find a rim with a center diameter of 108mm so the adapter looks very convenient....

make sure your new rim and tire combo is about the same diameter as your stock setup.

looks retarded when some one put on 20s with a 35 series tire on a truck that should have 45 series tires.

yea i think i know what ur talkin about....when someone has low profile tires on an suv when the tire needs to be thicker to make up for the free space..?

Depends. If you take care of your stuff and wont drive like a jackass slowing down late at lights and floor it leaving things then you shouldnt have too much of a problem.

Depends. If you take care of your stuff and wont drive like a jackass slowing down late at lights and floor it leaving things then you shouldnt have too much of a problem.

both techincal and literal. keep in mind if you put a wheel that is smaller in diameter than your stock wheel that it spins faster and clocks mileage up higher in less time.

is ur vehicle hub centric? You dont add them if u dont need them.

also you can run a spacer to clear ur hub, my ranger has a 1.25" one
