For a SQ build...

I think three way(midbass, midrange, and tweeter) active is usually recommended up front for an SQ build.

Amping them is a must. Depending on your budget, look at Madisound for the components for the setup.

In the rear, depending on if you're doing midbass in the doors or rear deck, and depending on whether or not you have a sub, I would do an 8" woofer, although 6-7" would be enough.

I was looking at madisound. Lots of good stuff there. I wanted to put the midbass speakers in the doors, but I would have to do some work to fit a 8" woofer. So if I go midrange up front how many watts should I send to the tweeters to really cover those 5khz-20khz frequencies?

Just get a set of Bravox Componants from Soundsolutionsaudio.com/store. Then get a nice used ZED audio made amp..(check ebay and the forums). Depending on which componants you get, 100watts should be more than enough. Then get a Epicenter crossover //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/drool.gif.b5e863e893038027711d4402f340dad0.gif lol.
