I'd piece together something from individual drivers, and use an active crossover.

http://www.zaphaudio.com has a lot of reviews of separate tweeters/midbasses.

get the focals. i had them and loved them. If you wanna spend twice as much, the polykevlars haev a lil better tweeter, quite a bit more midbass, and a little brighter. BUT DEFF. get a good clear amp for them (Audison, sundown, zapco...)

I'm not a big fan of MBQuart tweeters either...

takes getting used to, but the upper series are much different then the low end stuff...for 300$ Qline is a really good buy...
