I'm not holding out much hope for them either; even on rated power.
Skip is hard on subs, but he's responsible about it. He's knows if a sub is in trouble mehcanically or thermally and I imagine his instinct is to shut it down. That's good news for the FLXX.

We need someone who's as knowledgable as Skip, but irresponsible. Lol.

Hey, I know about subs and am constantly blowing things up. I'll break a few if it'll help the cause.

Nah def. not at max......I can play full tilt right now and not smell them for an entire song.
I got new leads for my DMM...and ima swap those on and make sure its clamping the same...and reading same.

I really dont wanna turn it up much more on the 2ohm, cuz idk how much more clean power is there......im sure a bit...but im thinking of just going too .5 ohm and using that and go up too possibly 2000w total and see what happens...than maybe 2400...and so on til i cant really do anyhting but burp them

Oh and i did play around on the meter last night.....i know this box and used it a few times...so i knew i wouldnt get too good a numbers with port full length....but
144.8 @ 35hz

145.2 @ 46hz

Its pretty freaking flat...i left clamps on for the burps...and it was about 1700w full burp
