Sold First System

Hey I'm just getting my first car system and I wanted some opinions on whats the best bang for the buck. I have a Acura RSX so I don't need too much to make it loud in my car. I was thinking about 1-12" Alpine SWX or 2-10" Rockford Fosgates.

Any suggestions on which to get or any other subs that would sound good but don't take up too much room. Oh and what boxes make these sound the best.

Oh yeah and I would most likely be running them off of a Kenwood KAC-9152D 1800w mono amp.

i liked my re in my hatchback, but that was before the spikes in prices. alpine type r is a good bang for your buck.

im lookin to spend like 250-300( but i am willing to go higher for exceptionally good deals) on subs alone. mainly lookin for a good 12 or a nice pair of 10s

Check out the forums here, get a RE XXX 12" and you'll be more than happy

I went with 2 Premier W3004SPL Subs, check out their reviews on the review board here, and there is even a guy on here selling a pair of 12s CHEAP, for 300 you can get both his subs and box all shipped to your house and these get LOUD

Get a type x very nice woofer, get pretty loud and sounds very very clean. And your amp whats the rms on it, you gave us a max rating and max ratings dont mean shit

Please keep in mind that the actual RMS power rating for that Kenwood amp is 500w @ 4 Ohms and 900w @ either 2 or 1 Ohm.
